Gardner-Webb University’s Lady Bulldog Basketball team waited anxiously Monday evening to learn who would be their opponent in the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship tournament.  It didn’t take too long for them to whoop when it was announced they would be facing the Miami Hurricanes in Charlottesville, VA on Sunday. The Lady Bulldogs were picked as a 14 seed in the region and will be playing the Hurricanes who are a number 3 seed. Both teams have faced the North Carolina Tarheels this season. Miami (27-4) tied Duke for the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season title, before losing to North Carolina in the ACC semifinals. The winner of the first round game will face the winner of the match-up between No. 6-seed Oklahoma and No. 11-seed James Madison.
