I’ve been given the opportunity to document the Gardner-Webb Lady Bulldogs first trip to the NCAA Division 1 Big Dance. I’ll be boarding the team bus tomorrow morning around 8 a.m. and leaving for their first-round game in Charlottesville, VA against the Miami Hurricanes Sunday at noon.
I hope to blog from the road and throughout the weekend to give readers an inside look at the Lady Bulldogs and their playoff run. The trip to the Big Dance is the first for any Garner-Webb basketball team – men’s or women’s. Enjoy the ride.
