Photojournalism

I'm a visual journalism professor at Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. I have been a visual communicator for over 40 years. I currently serve on the national board of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP).

Prior to entering academia, I have been a photojournalist, writer and editor. My work has appeared in the Washington Post, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, Dallas Times Herald, Chronicle of Higher Education, Commission, OnMission, Christianity Today and Charisma. I am still is an active photojournalist.
