Riding on the Empire Builder from Seattle to Chicago, I met Mark who is a coach car attendant. He is a fourth generation railroader and a wealth of knowledge of food to history on the stops from Seattle to Chicago. Here at the Havre, Montana stop, Mark recommended an ice cream shop passengers could visit during the 20 minute stop. He was able to point out a variety of visual portions of the route including a stretch along a river where eagles were nesting.
